Looking at information in a few news sources this morning, it looks like the “visa-free entry for citizens of Denmark, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Germany, France, Spain and the U.K. have been suspended until further notice to help with the current covid-19 epidemic.”
You’ll need to obtain visas online on the Official E-Visa Website or through reputable visa services to enter Vietnam.
“Although beware they are temporarily stopping issuing e-Visas for foreigners who are in or have recently visited areas where Covid-19 is spreading.”
Also on entry all nationalities will need to fill in online a medical declaration form before being allowed to enter. Fill it in truthfully to help combat the spread!!
Make sure you are covered for entering Vietnam guys, be a shame to be stuck at the border or airport.
Best of luck to you all.

We have some news about Tam Coc and the situation with the known covid-19 cases.

"The test results of 6 British people, including 4 who were on flight VN0054 from London to Hanoi were found to be negative of Sars-CoV-2 virus causing Covid-19 disease . This result makes more than 200 people who were quarantined in 3 hotels in Ninh Binh "breath a sigh of relief".
"On the evening of 9th March, Mr. Vu Manh Duong, Director of Ninh Binh Department of Health, said that the test results of 6 British people, including 4 people traveling on VN0054 flight were negative for Sars-CoV-2 virus, this was the 1st test result.

Mr. Duong also said that the local health sector had to classify and review those who are F1, F2, F3 & then decided to " free" 209 people from 3 hotels , who have been quarantined since 7th March."
"Earlier, as Thanh Nien informed, on the flight VN0054 (the flight with a Hanoi girl infected with Covid-19), there were 12 Britons with him. After arriving in Hanoi on 2nd March, these tourists returned to Ninh Binh to travel . Immediately after the discovery of Covid-19 infections on the flight, the authorities in Ninh Binh sought and isolated this group of travelers."

"Out of. the 12 people, 8 of them stayed at Ninh Binh Hidden Charm Hotel, 2 stayed at Banana Tree Hotel & 2 stayed at Tam Coc Mr. Lao Hotel (these hotels are in Tam Coc - Bich Dong Tourist Area, in Ninh Hai commune, Hoa Lu district, Ninh Binh)."

"By the 7th March, when Ninh Binh Health sector found a place for British tourists, the group of 8 people who stayed at Hidden Charm Hotel had left the hotel and moved to Cat Ba (Hai Phong) to continue travelling. (Currently 8 people are in isolation in Hai Phong)."

"The remaining 4 people (2 in each hotel) are staying in the same room with 2 more friends, also isolated at the hotel. Therefore, on 7th March, Ninh Binh Health sector and local authorities conducted a blockade of all 3 hotels. In 3 hotels, a total of 209 people, including travelers, staff, hotel managers and hotel owners."
"Although  the blockade order has not been lifted yet , 209 people continue to stay in 3 hotels waiting for authorities to take steps to prevent and control Covid-19 as prescribed, but these people can temporarily have a peace of mind that there are negative results for the 6 British tourists."
