Hanoi Parks

Hanoi Parks

The need to get out of this crazy traffic hits us all from time to time and so escaping reality by reading a book or taking a walk in a less smoke intense atmosphere can be just the ticket.

There are a number of Hanoi parks but the closest one which we prefer and take the family to is Ho Bay Mao. It has kids rides, a train, cafes, Swan pedalos and little ice cream & drink stops all around the beautiful well kept gardens and lake.

This lake is first on our list and closest to the old quarter. Some Hanoi parks can be small and not such an escape from the traffic (usually open air and no closing times) but still a place to sit and maybe meet the locals taking their daily exercise or playing Mahjong!
